The Sound of the Crowd

For The Record

Hands-down the best TV coverage of the convention has been MSNBC’s, especially their lengthy “After Hours” panel discussions with coverage from Joes Scarborough and Trippi, DeeDee Myers, Willie Brown, Ron Reagan and others. Even Scarborough is pretty easy to take for a smug Republican pretty-boy.

Since there’s no way I’ll be able to stomach as much of the GOP convention next month, I’ll probably be relying even more on their coverage then. Their gang-blog hasn’t been as impressive, but today did contain this little item:

“Sara Jessica Parker also walked by (my cameraman was swooning) and I caught up with her former cast-mate, Cynthia Nixon, who was shooting some kind of documentary of what was happening.”

Please god, let “some kind of documentary” really be…Tanner ‘04.

After all, Robert Altman is in Boston too…
