The Passion of the Bush Voter
Over on The Corner On National Review Online, one Tim Graham takes Charles Gibson to task for (he says) not asking Bush any questions about Kerry during their interview.
“If we get President Kerry, it will be easy to look back at interviews like these and go, yep, in crunch time, no one evaluated Kerry.”
Okay, hands up anyone who thinks we’d get an objective evaluation of Kerry from Bush–or, yes, vice-versa.
Anyone? Anyone?
Of course, what he really means is why didn’t Gibson give Bush a chance to trot out his talking points and distortions. Which, I’m guessing without reading the transcript, he probably did anyway.
