I continue to feel reassuringly outside all this, for the most part. Yes, the people and party in power are putting the lives of you, me, and all of our friends and families at risk. And they’re doing it to pursue their own blinders-on, our-hero-is-infailible agenda.*
But you know what? Bush was elected this time. We’ve chosen our poison, and it would be unseemly to start coughing up now. Hold on tight, America, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

*(Sounds like the last season of Buffy…hmm.)
