  1. Something that really pushes my buttons is when people express opinions about things they haven’t seen–John McCain about F-9/11, for example. So I’m not expressing an opinion about The Polar Express, I’m just saying I wouldn’t go see it for all the tea in China. Here’s why.

  1. I will be seeing The Incredibles this afternoon, however. And here’s an interview with director/writer Brad Bird, who is just one of the many reasons why.

  1. This is kind of interesting…George Clooney is directing, co-writing and starring in a movie about Ed Murrow and Joe McCarthy. There’s an opportunity for real trenchant social commentary there.
