Will Eisner died today. As ripples go through the world affecting everyone who has ever admired a piece of his art (which is to say, anyone who has ever seen a piece of his art), here’s a few places you can read about his life.

Mark Evanier gives some idea of what Eisner meant to the comics professional and fan community here. There’s also a link in Mark’s piece to a longer biography, but if you just want the headlines of a well-nigh legendary life, here is a good place to start.

I don’t have too much personal to add here. It’s just that one recognizes the passing of giants.
