The Sound of the Crowd

In The Name Of Love

A new children’s book award has been created in the name of Dr. Seuss, which is great. Even better is the name of the woman from the American Library Association who announced the award:

“There is a true magic to Geisel’s work, which is clear in the enduring power of such classics as ‘The Cat in the Hat’ and ‘Green Eggs and Ham,’” division president Gretchen Wronka said in a statement. “This new award honors that spirit and the authors and illustrators that delight and engage children in reading.”

“Gretchen Wronka.” Now that is a great name. “Hi there, I’m Gretchen Wronka.”
