The Sound of the Crowd

Now this is kind of a neat idea

Say, remember that Jonah Goldberg fellow I mentioned last week? He’s one of those armchair warriors who is very gung-ho about the war in Iraq. But responds to questions about why he isn’t enlisted and serving there if he belives in the war so much by hiding behind his family. As if none of the men serving there had families.

Make your blood boil a little bit? Wondering what you can do about it?

I’m glad you asked.

PS: You know, suddenly I find myself thinking about Al Gore. Say what you will about Al Gore, the man made two tours of Vietnam, in part because he didn’t want to embarass his father, a then-prominent anti-war Senator. How does that compare? Just wondering.

PPS: And you can see Goldberg tap-dancing as fast as he can by following a link via Atrios here.
