Stay/Leave

Self-Released

As the former frontman of Midwest favorites Blue Meenies, Tim Mahoney is something of a music industry veteran, with 80,000 record sales chalked up over 10 years. With five solo albums under his belt, he remains relatively unknown outside of the Twin Cities.

His latest effort, Stay/Leave boasts a stellar cast of big name writers and producers – including Kevin Kadish and John Fields – and the end result is a solid record with a number of memorable tracks including the punchy pop-rock of “Simple Life” and “Theme Song,” as well as the mid-tempo ballad “More Than a Moment” and first single “Piece of You.”

Even though Stay/Leave probably won’t catapult Tim Mahoney to national acclaim, it’s clear that he is enjoying his music again after a few years out of the studio.
