“It’s all me…ME!” squeals Lieberman

No matter what side you line up on concerning health care reform, there is no way this little jackass should be allowed to think he’s this powerful:

If a government plan is part of the deal, “as a matter of conscience, I will not allow this bill to come to a final vote,” said Sen. Joe Lieberman, the Connecticut independent whose vote Democrats need to overcome GOP filibusters.

“Conscience”? You have none, you bottom-trolling toady. Obama or Pelosi or someone should take you aside, show you the pictures of you and that mule, and shut your conceited ass up.

As to a public option, without one all this blather about reform is just hot air. Until insurance companies are FORCED by the marketplace to serve customers instead of themselves, they’ll just hire more legions of lawyers to write exceptions to whatever laws you’re considering. Its been that way since day one for that industry, and will never change until people have a “screw you” option.
