The puppets in a closet return, this time Jeff Ferree takes us into the eerie land of presidential deaths and assassinations and general weirdness. Robert Lincoln was at or around three of those deaths. Presidents elected in years ending in zero tend to die in office; Reagan survived a gun shot as did GW. Lincoln was repeatedly exhumed, just to make sure, and that’s not all. It’s a small, nonpartisan history lesson, if such a thing could exist today. The puppets are creepy; just like the politics they portray. And the show? It’s a donation, if you’re feeling flush; a bigger donation is this political cycle has you scared poop-free.
