1999 WRITE THE FUTURE Unveils Debut Album ‘hella (˃̣̣̥╭╮˂̣̣̥) ✧ ♡ ‧º·˚:’ Featuring A-List Collaborations

Introducing 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE, the new music collective making waves with their debut album, hella (˃̣̣̥╭╮˂̣̣̥) ✧ ♡ ‧º·˚:, set to release this Friday, February 9, via 88rising and RCA Records. With an impressive lineup of 24 tracks, the album delves into the anachronistic lore of the collective while capturing the essence of ’90s SoCal culture through a lens of childhood nostalgia and wonder.

In anticipation of the album drop, 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE has released their latest single, “LONG in the tOOth” featuring Pos of De La Soul & The Budos Band, showcasing a fusion of brassy, bass-heavy beats and punchy rhymes that epitomize the collective’s unique sound. With previous collaborations featuring the likes of BADBADNOTGOOD, Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine, and more, 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE is quickly becoming a project to watch, backed by the pioneering efforts of global music and media company, 88rising. ◼
