Eric Brace & Thomm Jutz

“Simple Motion”

Red Beet Records

In December 2022, Eric Brace & Thomm Jutz found themselves on a new musical path, following the loss of musical partner and creative spark Peter Cooper. The three had recorded music together for many years, and now Brace and Jutz have released their first single as a duo, title track “Simple Motion.”

The new album, which comes out in April 2024, is 14 tracks featuring the duo on its own and with a variety of musicians (bassist Mark Fain, drummer Lynn Williams, fiddler Tammy Rogers, banjo players Richard Bailey and Justin Moses, mandolinist Mike Compton), playing songs “full of life and love and beauty and sadness.”

Simple Motion streams everywhere February 16. The LP is available for pre-order from the Red Beet Records store.
