Wolfie

Awful Mess Mystery

Mud

Seriously, this is my favorite, most listened to album as of late by a mile. Sparklingly fresh pop with amazing hooks played by younger kids, giving this an air of wonder and sincerity. Hearts on sleeves, stars in eyes, the whole bit. And they write great songs, complete with the splash of keyboard melodies, “ooh-ooh”s, boy/girl vocals, and the occasional tambourine. The best immediately catchy yet repeatedly listenable indie pop record I’ve heard in a while. Think Rentals, but warmer and better. Thirteen songs and I’m begging for more. Yay Wolfie!
