“mabus”

Mabus

Swollen

Whoa, dude. Heavy. But not some poser-heavy thing, like somebody who moves up to Gainesville from Miami and plays to frat boys who wish they were heavy. This is the real deal. The instruments stay in lockstep, kinda Helmet-style, while the singer just goes off, sometimes screaming, sometimes actually singing (reminiscent of Perry Farrell on some of Jane’s’ more rocking stuff). If you want heavy, Mabus got it. Oh yeah, don’t hold your breath waitin’ to hear this one on the radio, estimated F-word average: 1 minute 34 seconds. 11 songs, you do the math. Like I said, heavy.
