Sinner

The Second Decade

Nuclear Blast

Sinner is from Germany and they play 80’s metal. Sometimes, crunchy like in a Judas Priest way, other times, it’s pop metal like in a Europe way. The Second Decade is a “best of” record.

The first song on this CD, “Drop the Gun,” sounds EXACTLY like Megadeth’s “Countdown to Extinction,” with the same vocal style as Dave Mustaine. How am I supposed to review this material fairly without making comparisons? I can’t!!! Think Judas Priest’s Painkiller album mushed with Megadeth’s Countdown to Extinction . Granted, these are both killer albums, but I can’t stand listening to carbon copy music.
