Doghouse

A short but snappy five song EP from this trio. Mostly going through upbeat, pop-stained rock tunes, with nice keyboard drone filtering through the rush of guitar at times. The vocals are strong but soft, like the lyrics stick to the back of the throat, giving it the sense of being stuck somewhere between some paisley-influenced groove and the Clash. The last song shifts way down, almost Codeine slow, but not as minimal. Very melodic and liquid, with those same back-throat vocals almost whispering.
