Ensign
For What It’s Worth
Nitro
I would expect nothing less from Ensign on their new Nitro Records EP, For What It’s Worth. Ensign has always been able to maintain their hardcore roots, mixing in pit-destroying breakdowns and limb-flying dance parts, and there is no sign of them stopping soon. The last album I heard by Ensign was their 1999 release, Cast the First Stone, and the lyrics are just as in-your-face, and the music is just as straight-up. If you are looking for a hardcore band that isn’t going to disappoint you and start rapping, go industrial or nu-metal, then check out Ensign.
