Bomb And Hype

117

self-released

Things I remember: when it was Saturday night and Schoolly D was feeling kinda sporty; when, at six in the morning, police were knocking at Ice-T’s door; when Eazy E sampled “Ball Of Confusion” and NWA was fucking the police; when Too Short was just so damned short and funky; and the DOC didn’t know if it was funky enough; when Snoop couldn’t seem to remember his name; Outkast was slamming Cadillac doors; all of No Limit was gettin’ bawdy-bawdy; and Goodie Mob was blasting everybody peeping in their window.

And, since Atlanta’s Bomb And Hype seem to remember all those moments way too well, too, I’d really like to forget them.
