Truth and Balls – April 20th, 2003

It’s a very happy Easter morning.

It began with the realization that my ball python Monty had managed to escape his cage for the first time in ten years and was lurking somewhere within the confines of the house that I shared with my fiancee’. I made a quick check of the furry critters within the house – both cats were okay, though little Sluefoot Sue, one of the felines, had upset a director’s chair in the middle of the night and entered the bedroom scared to death – probably inspired by the sight of a three-foot long serpent slithering out of his cage. I quickly located the errant reptile and returned him to his palace. And that was just the beginning to this day of revelation and joy and wonder. (to be continued)
