Keep On Moving
Okay, you know how sometimes I’ll write a review saying I’m impressed by the way a band or singer recreates a certain era but criticize them on the strength, or lack thereof, of their actual songwriting? Usually the era I’m saying they’re recreating is around 1983, right? Well, roll that back about five years and you have my response to Tricia Kelly’s Keep On Moving. Disco fans should not pass her up; for the rest of us, this is an effective but unnecessary novelty.
