Syrup

Sweet Country Rock Ass

PimpRock

Oozing from the innards of Tallahassee, Syrup pours out guitar rock more viscous than a bottle of Mrs. Butterworth’s on a January `morn. Hard and heavy in a Kiss style, Syrup trades the cosmetics look for a country-cowboy-Elvis presentation.

Syrup’s sludgy rock is not without it’s moments. There are some clever lyrics and riffs, not to mention numerous drug references, which make Sweet Country Rock Ass a fun listen. They rock out on “Drug Freedom” and “Foxy Pussy,” while some tunes will tire you quickly. By the looks of them a live show may just be ho-down to reckon with!
