Perhaps the intent of this type music is not so much to be memorable, but to provide a sort of sensoral metronome, a manner of marking the minutes passed while you do something else. Drum loops, some ingenious, some not. Instruments and voices that seem to drift in, like rain in the wind. Some interesting sounds: theremins, koto. It doesn’t make me want to rip the headphones off… on the contrary, headphones stay on with great comfort. Still, I couldn’t for the life of me recall a single one of the eleven great tracks on here.
