Noise Reduction II

Various Artists

AlleySweeper

I just recently started again on my search for more and more music, and it landed me with AlleySweeper Records. Based out of Clawson, MI, I was surprised to find such a diverse roster of sounds and styles. Noise Reduction II tosses us a couple of tracks from each band, ranging from the raw-hop of Dijislov to the tribal drumming of Tribes of Neurot to the ambient dancing of Waterwheel. I used it as a stepping stone to test the waters of AlleySweeper. The label has a lot to offer, and keeps pushing out the material with a consistent standard of quality. If you’re as tired of all those big British beat tweaks, screeches, bells, and whistles as I am, try on some good American products. Noise Reduction II is a trip into the imagination of nine bands on AlleySweeper. Each one has it’s own unique sound, and by the end of a long night; you can use every one of them. Alleysweeper Records, P.O. Box 361, Clawson, MI 48017-0361
