Old Time Relijun

Uterus and Fire

K

Garage, free jazz, swamp-raga, and noisy gospel are just a few words Old Time Relijun use to describe their sound. A clear description might go something like “Jon Spencer howling over music that is a moonshine-soaked mix of Tom Waits and Captain Beefheart.” On the song “Office Building,” Arrington De Dionyso could easily be mistaken for Nick Cave. Complex, primitive, stripped down, aggressive, unique, backwoods music worthy of many repeated listens by those daring enough to try.
