Jeez… about the only bands I can think of that come close to sounding like the Echo Orbiter are the Wrens and Home. I’m not sure too many people are familiar with any of these. The Echo Orbiter’s crafty harmonies, insistent and catchy despite their seeming atonality, stand out among the happy chiming melodies this trio produces. A new twist to new pop, and a lovely racket indeed.
