The Lilys

Zero Population Growth

Darla

Elusive is the work I’m looking for. The Lilys’ sound progresses from album to album avoiding new directions entirely, in favor of exploring new dimensions. Zero Population Growth continues that trend with an electronically-tinged collection of instrumentals. Coming off as a tributary to the recent river of modern minimalist Kraut-musik like Schneider TM and To Roccoco Rot, Zero Population Growth is filled with pulsating sounds that lure you into a deep trance. Six tracks that make the half-hour go by in the blink of an eye.
