Whirled

Ex-Action Patrol members again find themselves in an amazing band with spastic energy. Much different, but equally good and unique. Urgent trademark vocals with inspired lyrics atop jittery music. Even the calmer moments on here have an underlying feeling of tension, as if in anticipation of the lash out. “My Cartography Internship” is a fantastic song in particular, but I’m quite fond of this album as a whole. They’re carving their own path through the hardcore/punk realm, making a distinct impression through sincerity, creativity, and energy.
