Tracking the Hydroplane

Take some prog-rock like Rush or Yes and mix in some indie rock and cool effects, and you’ll have the first song on Tracking the Hydroplane , called “Propeller Sky.” The second song, “640×480,” reminds me of the Flaming Lips or more melodic Jane’s Addiction, with Perry Farrell-like vocals. The rest of the album is a mix of prog-rock, techno, indie rock and psychedelic pop.
