Religion’s Last Gasp
by Jason Nelson
Hey, how do you know what a rainbow tastes like? You’ve never tasted
a rainbow. Its colors might look a broad array of juicy, fruit flavored
treats, but something is missing. And something can be translated into
English. There is a smallish group of red-headed translators living in
northwestern Oklahoma. They live in a highly fortified complex, guarded by
a healthy mix of vitamins and minerals. When considering colors and the
bouncing qualities of light and precipitation, there is always room for
tightly lidded containers of multi-vitamins. Considerations must be
considered however, because considering is what those words imply. But
things always taste differently in the rain. And with a stomach full of
pills and head full of translations, you’ll have to fight the sun for a
taste of light’s full spectrum.
