Horace Andy

Living in the Flood

Melankolic

He has lent his voice to Massive Attack, borrowed from the Impressions and the Dramatics, collaborated with the likes of Joe Strummer, Sly and Robbie, Clive Hunt, Steely and Cleevy, Bunny Lee, King Tubby, Nenah Cherry, and Mad Professor, and still aspires to one day work with Lee “Scratch” Perry. There is little doubt that Sleepy Andy is a WORKING LEGEND! He was weened on the sweet milk of Studio One in Jamaica, thus giving his eloquent falsetto an authentic wail. Cutting his teeth with some of the original big names at the studio, Horace learned what irie represented. Living in the Flood recalls the past while gazing straight ahead towards that beautiful stalk of sensi! One love, y’all…
