Mirah

You Think It’s Like This But Really It’s Like This

K

This is less of an album and more of an aural sketchbook and diary. It is fascinating and perplexing to the listener. The desire to listen is in conflict with the sense that these are things not meant for your ears. Mirah Yom Tov Zeitlyn has created a truly odd and unique and wonderful disc. Mirah’s stream of consciousness lyrics are wrapped around some wonderful melodies, which range from pop to ambient. Mirah plays most of the instruments on the album, which helps add to the intimacy of the record.
