Turbo

This disc is by far the most superior release I’ve heard from Turbo Records. Not only is the sampling amazing (and international), but the sound is so personal and so meaningful that you’re just swept away from beat one. Whether it’s the remixes of Swedish hits or the things done originally by Alexi Delano, you cannot deny the emotional movement of the tracks. From the sexy “Shiver Me” to the jazz-inspired “What if I Love,” the best thing about this album is that most of the tracks have vocals. There are so many electronic artists who just throw some drum and bass into a few old beats and call it a masterpiece. This album has thought and energy behind it, and that’s irrefutable throughout all the songs.
