Operation Makeout

First Base

Mint

There are some things I simply do not tire of: brownies, The Simpsons, vodka, kissing, and girl pop-punk bands. My newest infatuation is with an infectious trio called Operation Makeout. I honestly cannot say that Operation Makeout does anything new, but they do what they do quite well. In fact the more I listen to this disc the more I fall in love with it. They are close cousins to The Eyeliners and Third Sex in style. This would be the place one might be tempted to make some lame making out joke, but I choose to rise above such things. Instead I’ll close by saying that the addictive, hook-laden songs om Operation Makeout’s disc First Base make it easy to get into and nearly impossible to turn off.
