Montana Pete

Play Devo and French Ladies

Coin Operated

Montana Pete are a three piece from the UK who most likely have never been to Montana, nor are any of their members named Pete. The opening track, “Devo,” comes across like a cross between Fugazi and Gang Of Four wrestling over the lathe or drill press in shop class. Of course, that is not entirely unpleasant. The flip side, “French Ladies,” is not nearly as hurdy gurdy as the opener, and even has some shouted lyrics in French. Altogether, it is not too bad, but a bit brief.
