The Pasties

Platonica

Soapstar

Mmmm, tasty. Bouncy pop with a heavy Moog bent… it’s like donuts. Sure, you can have one every once in a while, but it takes a very special kind of donut to make you eat the whole box. The Pastrys – ahem, Pasties are hot and fresh, with lush vocal harmonies to provide a tasty chocolate topping and incisive lyrics to give everything a heavenly steamy aroma. However, whether it’s power pop numbers like “Shameless” or “Stayed With Me” or slower ballads like “This Dance” or “I Miss You Mostly,” The Pasties have enough substance to be more than just a bit of guilty pleasure.
