James Cotton Blues Band

35th Anniversary Jam

Telarc

To spend 35 years in the entertainment industry is an accomplishment that must bear a lot of scars. While most of them are definitely on the larynx of this legendary harpist, James Cotton is still one hell of a performer. With a cavalcade of some of the blues hottest performers (Tab Benoit, Shamekia Copeland, Kenny Neal, Lucky Peterson, Bobby Rush, Jimmie Vaughan, and the goddess Koko Taylor), Cotton (a disciple of Muddy Waters) celebrates in true Chi-Town style – rib tips and all. This is no Hoodoo Man Blues, but it is a hell of a lot of fun brought to you by one of the last living blues legends. A wang dang doodle of a good time.
