An Automotive

Six Gun Lover

An Automotive, a five piece comprised of former members of quirky Joan Of Arc, explore the sonic boundaries with Radiohead-like programming and pop sensibility arrangements.

On “Pop Wasteland,” Ben Kane drums a steady jazz-fueled beat and Frank Hryniewicz explores with a Dick Dale-type guitar and Joe Campagna plays the keys by simply waiting for the charismatic leader (Erik Bocek) to conquer the crowd.

The technical wizardry and superb arrangement warrants this album for multiple listens just in order to “catch” its intricacies. The space oddity songs, “Someone’s The Subject” and “Whatever Happened to Galveston Island” are two superb examples.
