I caught part of Dennis Miller’s new show last night–like a truck fire, you just can’t look away–and heard some sub-Ann Coulter trying on the “beneath the dignity of the White House” argument. That’s the the one that says that an incumbent “president” doesn’t have to lower himself to the down-and-dirty business of campigning. It’s also one of the reasons Bushs’ daddy lost.
