Thought some of you might like to read this talk Cory Doctorow gave on Ebooks and other new methods of publishing. It’s a long one but I think it’s worthwhile–even if he does reference Harlan Ellison blind (Ellison is almost certainly the “colleague” Doctorow mentions who has and is suing AOL for making copywritten material availible online for free and without compensation to the writer).
I don’t think I agree with everything Doctorow says, but he does make a stronger argument than I remember having seen before.
