The Sound of the Crowd

Wait just a motherfucking minute

Looks like I’ve got CNN in the crosshairs today. But I wasn’t going to write an entry about this article on a speech Al Gore gave yesterday. He said Bush purposely deceived the public on Iraq; which I think is true. Which most of you know I think is true. Which most of you agree is true (because smart people read my blog).

But here’s what got the steam coming out of my ears. Underlined empasis mine.

“Gore, who won the popular vote in 2000 but lost the electoral vote after a recount of ballots in Florida, has not campaigned with Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry, but he has made a number of speeches and appearances to support Kerry and help the Democratic Party raise money.”

Doesn’t that leave out the fact that a rediculously partisan Supreme Court had to intervene to put their man in office? To say nothing of the fact that it remains disputable whether Gore “lost” that recount, and I’m not even getting into the verfied instances of supression of the black vote. Come on, even this schlomo from Knoxville (Knoxville, do you understand me? Knoxville!) knows that it’s not as simple as to say “Gore won the popular vote, but lost the electoral college after a recount.”

And Tucker Carlson wonders why we think he and his brethern are dicks.
