Rice: U.S. Attack on Iran Not on Agenda

LONDON – Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said a U.S. attack on Iran “is simply not on the agenda,” despite the United States’ continued criticism of Iran’s human rights record and suspected nuclear weapons ambitions.

If we actually had a functioning media in this country, this “news” would be presented perhaps as:

SOS Rice states Iran attack not “on the agenda”, history suggests she is lying

I mean, this woman just got her Stepford ass handed to her in the confirmation hearings, garnering the closest vote in over 100 years for the post, and still, she talks, and the papers print it as if she had any credibility AT ALL.

She doesn’t. She lies. She lies for a living. Of course we’re going to invade Iran. Why do you think we’ve been flying over it since August? To pin down where their radar is located, so we can take it out in a first strike. Really, this is simple stuff.

PS: We’re hectoring a nation on human rights? Man, that is so funny. Even mad as hatters (as they must surely be…), our administration must realize that the moment that these pictures hit the press, we lost not only what little bit of post 9/11 goodwill remained, but we tossed away the right to lecture anyone on human rights. We don’t respect human rights. Face it.
