British wanted to continue surveillance on terror suspects, official says
LONDON – NBC News has learned that U.S. and British authorities had a significant disagreement over when to move in on the suspects in the alleged plot to bring down trans-Atlantic airliners bound for the United States.
So why would the White House want to jump the gun on the arrests? Because of their overwhelming zeal at capturing bad guys?
Ha.
Or because by breaking the news of this arrest on Thursday, you assure that the stomping of Bush buttsmoocher Lieberman by Ned Lamont (the “Al Qaida candidate, according to a braying mule on CNN) is recast by our ghoulish VP Dick Cheney as a vote for “Al Qaida types”.
TTP will return to this in the near future, but the bottom line is, the GOP has NO interest in stopping terrorism, but rather, maintaining control of Congress so they don’t all end up in jail. The sounds we are hearing from them are nothing more than the panic squeals of cornered rats.
