Moderates in G.O.P. Warn Bush on Iraq
WASHINGTON, May 9 – Moderate Republicans gave President Bush a blunt warning on his Iraq policy at a private White House meeting this week, telling the president that conditions needed to improve markedly by fall or more Republicans would desert him on the war.
Considering that the majority of the country wants timetables, if not an outright exit RIGHT NOW- and that King George is the most unpopular “president” in more than a generation, this doesn’t exactly sound like a risky venture for these GOP 11. Still, they are the only ones with enough fuzz on the peaches to actually tell even a wisp of the truth to the petulant little nitwit.
