Killer Quack

Killer Quack

By James Judd

Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival, Yellow Venue</strong>

James Judd is one of these perennial story tellers on the Fringe circuit that has enough interesting stuff in his life to keep us constantly amused, but not so much it kills him dead. In this very personal story, he talks about his life as an improv artist and a standup comic and an unfortunate tattoo he acquired along the way. When he decided to get a degree in a profession a field, he decided to remove the tattoo. While it’s possible to remove that mistake from a drunken weekend in Kansas City, it’s neither cheap nor easy, and he finds himself on the hook for 12 incredibly painful and bloody procedures and a total cost equal to that of a decent used car. But to make up for the pain and suffering is his doctor, a smoking hot physician with a rock star practice. He falls into an unrequited love, but eventually discovers the doctor is a fraud. What happens next is both fascinating and touching, and Judd is a man who can deliver the goods when it comes to telling a good tale and embellishing it along the way. He’ been around this festival in the past, you might recall his “Seven Sins” and “Fat Camp”. He’s at the top of his form and not to be missed.

This production is part of the 2014 Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival. Information on tickets and show times may be found at http://OrlandoFringe.org/
