The Fringe Omnibus for May 26, 2016

What? MORE shows?

On The Fringe (Gold) Filmmaker Nancy Kenny presents a documentary on the 2014 Canadian Fringe Festival circuit. From Toronto to Vancouver she follows the highs and lows of Fringe favorites including Martin Dockery, Vanessa Quesnelle and poet Jem Rolls as they deal with parties, billets, and bad reviews.

Stump (Red) PB&J’s Gemma Waldon and Brandon Roberts raise mutant plants and a budding romance in the silent yet beautiful romance. Plus you get wild flower seeds.

Lil’ Women: A Rap Musical (Orange) See the Grand Rap Battle between American literature’s favorite young ladies Jo and Meg. It’s sisterly love with a beat, and damn funny to boot. Word.

Women Behind Bars (Red) Even the drag wears drag in this hyperactively funny prison epic. None of the girls is guilty but they are all horny as Matron Bob Brandenburg enforces discipline and elderly grandmother Larry Stalling keep the cheap jokes flowing. Prison reform has never been so much fun!

These show was presented as part of the 2016 Orlando Fringe Festival. For show times, tickets and more information please visit . http://orlandofringe.org/
