The Help Machine (33 1/3 Records). Review by Christopher Long.
All the holiday cheer that’s fit to print! Er, digitize. Carl F Gauze explains.
Carl F. Gauze takes one last pre-vacation dip into the Orlando theater scene and is mightily impressed by O’Neil and Sondheim productions, and endures a horrid political production that sent even seasoned critics running for the hills.
Tom “Tearaway” Schulte whips up an Outsight deluge, complete with analysis of Nick Drake, the Cramps, Betty Blowtorch, Captain Beefheart, Noam Chomsky and der Crue.
Chuck Bantam opens his storybook to tell the heartwarming tale of Bob, who was tormented by the queen of gossip, before he transformed into an hardened, obscenity-spewing bastard. It’s a happy ending!
