This 12” features two mixes by Roni Size. The vocal mix nice as it may be just doesn’t pack the wallop of the dub version. Let’s face it – drum and bass is all about dub. How many drummers do you know that can play these beats on a kit without the aid of MIDI or some sort of electronics? Anyways, this single is a more subtle, vocal form of D&B and should turn a few more people onto this great band and awesome label. What I want to know is when do we get another Leftfield LP? It’s been four years, c’mon fellas, what’s the hold up?
