Meteor City

Metal for the car enthusiasts. Following the release of their 1999 album, Neanderthal Speedway, Solarized got props from various Monster Magnet members and have been compared to Fu Manchu and Kyuss. This is what would happen if Kid Rock’s music and Rob Zombie’s lyrics found themselves in each other’s company for a long period of time. The radio directed songs are “Dig The Ride,” “Born Of Fire,” “Conspiracy,” and “World Without End.” The best songs are the totally devoid of compassion “Born Of Fire,” the classic sounding “Chrome Shop,” the trailer trash party song “Angel,” and political statement/advice-filled “Box Full of Dirt.” An interesting new/old sound to fill the gaps between the releases of your favorite metal albums.
