The Queers

Punk Rock Confidential

Hopeless

This time around, the Queers are made up of Joe Queer with people from Jon Cougar Concentration Camp. Punk Rock Confidential is another record of recycled Ramones and Beach Boys melodies, something that worked fine on the last two Queers records. I liked the bubblegum pop-punk sweetness. This time it’s just plain awful, though. The songs are just limp and lifeless. Fifteen tracks of bland pop. Some keyboards are added with good effect, but overall it’s just bad. I have no desire to listen to this ever again. Hopeless Records, P.O. Box 7495, Van Nuys, CA 91409-7495
