Music from the Motion Picture

Giant/Reprise

Dude, is this freedom rock? Tracks from the Who (“Won’t Get Fooled Again”), Yes (“Roundabout”), The Eagles (“Take It Easy”), and more of the same tell me this movie from “the guys who made There’s Something About Mary “ is yet another ’70s period piece. All the tracks on here could well be considered classics, and I’m sure you’ve already heard most of them a million times. Of note are Ten Years After’s “I’d Love to Change The World,” King Harvest’s “Dancing in the Moonlight” and Badfinger’s “No Matter What,” the only songs on here not already played to death on classic rock radio.
